Would you like to become a tradesperson in Carpentry?

Love to get your hands dirty and learn how to build houses?

Our client based in the Sutherland Shire is looking to put on a first year apprentice!

In this trade you will have terrific tradesmen to help you learn the trade and TAFE study will also accompany this.

As a first year apprentice here are the tasks you will undertake:

  • Assist tradesmen in the construction of new houses, renovations and extensions
  • Set up work areas and have tools and materials ready each day
  • Ensure work sites are kept clean and rubbish is removed daily
  • Assisting in labour intensive tasks such as demolition and formwork

Our client is looking for someone with a really good attitude, a genuine interest in the trade, hard working, reliable and punctual, respectful and willing to learn and willing to do overtime and weekend work when required. 

Some experience in using hand tools and power tools and having some construction experience would be highly desirable.

Our client works on mainly residential areas with high end clients and they have an outstanding working culture where there is an opportunity for ongoing employment.
