To support our existing and new host employers, 1300apprentice has a position available for a Business Development Manager to manage our contract labour division. With a focus on view to permanent positions by providing skilled and unskilled workers for a minimum of 3 weeks, this role gives mid-long term stable opportunities to contract labour employees.
Established in 1985, 1300apprentice is an independent, award winning for-purpose organisation. Together we support over 330 apprentices and trainees and over 200 employers across 40 vocations in Canberra, Sydney, Illawarra, and the Southern Highlands.
With over 150+ years of industry experience, 1300apprentice has started over 2,000 careers and provided a high quality of service to hundreds of companies in the process.

Accountable for conversion of new host employers, you’ll apply your account management experience and networking ability to grow on an already well-established client base. This is an important role which is challenging yet rewarding in a fun and energetic team.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will see you responsible for sourcing new host employers interested in our contract labour services. You will work closely with industry contacts to promote 1300apprentice as the employer of choice.
