About the role:

Apprentices are trained in all the skills required to install, service, repair and modernise lifts, escalators and moving walkways. You will work closely with customers and develop exceptional electrical and customer service skills as an apprentice.

You will earn above award rates, while you work full-time and study at TAFE to gain your trade qualification a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

To be successful:

  • Completed school studies to year 12
  • Ideally, have completed Certificate II in Electrotechnology (not essential)
  • Female and First Nation candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent safety awareness
  • Hands-on approach to learning
  • A passion for working with electrical systems
  • Good communication and the ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
  • Driver’s licence.

Before commencing, you will be required to:

  • Obtain a Working with Children clearance
  • Complete a Police clearance
  • Gain a White Card
  • Undergo a pre-employment medical.
