Electrical Trades Assistant and Storeperson, Indigenous identified, Sydney Inner West

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander targeted positions looking for an Electrical trades assistant and Storeperson to add their growing business!

1300apprentice have a client based in the Inner West of Sydney looking for indigenous identified candidates to fill 2 positions and be part of a growing team and company. Our client is highly successful in their industry and have been in operation for 28 years.

Electrical trades assistant position

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting tradesman on various projects
• Happy to travel all over Sydney as well as down south and north at times
• Not afraid at working at heights
• Able to use hand and power tools.

Storeperson, Part-time

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting on-site team members with preparing supplies for pick pack
• Checking supplies and stock on hand
• Pick packing
• Working hours can vary from 6am-6pm
• May be required to use company vehicle to take stock on site.

The ideal candidates:

• Committed and highly motivated
• Organised
• Able to work as part of a team
• Happy to work long hours and travel for work when needed.

To be considered:

• Must Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background
• Must have a current driver's licence and own transport
• Some experience in working in a Storeperson’s role or as an Electrical TA (desirable but not      essential)
• Forklift licence
• First aid, Working at heights and boat licence (desirable but not essential).
