1300apprentice have an amazing opportunity with a reputable host employer based in Silverwater who are looking for a 1st year Fitter Machinist apprentice to join their dynamic team.

About our Host

Our host employer has been in business for 49 years where they have dedicated their time to providing solutions in all fields of fluid handling. They customise pumps for their clients in the civil and building industries. 

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be completing a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter machinist). 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Workshop based role 
  • Using hand and power tools 
  • Learning to use CNC, lathes and milling machines 
  • Interpreting drawings
  • General clean up duties 
  • Other tasks as required.

Must have:

  • Driver’s licence and own transport to get to the workshop
  • White card
