At 1300apprentice we have a client based at Silverwater who are looking for a mature and reliable person to join their team.

Our client is an industry leader and they provide end-to-end services for all types of industrial pumps, including custom-built fluid handling solutions. They customise pumps to the exact requirements of customers with a range of robust, reliable pumps and environmentally approved pollution control systems.

As a first year apprentice you will be involved in the following tasks and duties:

• Using hand and power tools
• Using CNC, lathes, and milling machines
• Interpreting drawings
• Cleaning jobs and work area
• Following WHS procedures
• Other tasks as required.

Our client is looking for someone with good work ethics and a hard working attitude.

Having good mechanical reasoning and problem solving skills is also a worthy attribute.

Please be aware that random drug tests may be conducted.

Apprentices are primarily workshop based.
There may also be opportunities to go out on site with a supervisor – however, you may need your own transportation.
