We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working apprentice to join our landscaping crew in Canberra. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and learning practical skills, this is a great opportunity to start your career in landscape construction.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of landscaping, including:
Hard Landscaping (Construction):
- Paving (patios, walkways, driveways)
- Retaining walls (stone, timber, concrete)
- Decking and pergolas
- Fencing and garden edging
- Outdoor structures (seating areas, fire pits)
Soft Landscaping (Planting):
- Turf installation (natural and artificial)
- Planting trees, shrubs, and garden beds
- Soil preparation and drainage
Other tasks include:
- Installing irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems)
- Basic earthworks (levelling, excavation)
- Operating machinery (mini-excavators, compactors)
About you:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Works well in a team environment
Essential requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle (required before starting)
