Parks & Gardens, 1st year Apprentice, Sutherland Shire
1300apprentice has a great opportunity for a motivated individual to start a Cert III in Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship with an industry-leading partner working in the Sutherland Shire Area.
Our Employer Partner’s team are passionate about what they do and the quality of the service they provide. They have been servicing the Sutherland Shire community since 2016 and have an unravelled reputation as the go to gardening company. When you join this fun passionate team you will learn your trade from passionate professionals, as you undertake a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.
Some of what you will learn:
- Planting trees, bushes, plants
- Mowing & whipper snipping
- Edging and mulching
- Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
- Working on domestic, commercial and strata properties
- Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
- Project costing.
Must have:
- Driver licence and own transport
- White card or willing to obtain one.
To be successful:
- Have a passion for landscape construction and want to be part of a growing business once you’ve completed your apprenticeship
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Well presented
- Great work ethic
- Dedicated and keen to learn
