PAYROLL OFFICER one day per week (Thursdays)

The role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to be an integral part of the business to ensure efficiency with weekly payroll of up 30 employees.
The work day will be Thursdays, so it would be great for a parent wanting to return to the workforce, a semi retired person, or someone that jumps to one business to another on a weekly basis but on different days.
Key responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Processing superannuation and payroll tax
  • Other ad-hoc accounting/payroll duties
  • General admin duties, data entry, maintaining accurate employee records.
Expectations of the role:
  • Relevant experience with weekly payroll & invoicing in an established company with multiple employee’s & various clients
  • Proven ability to manage independent workload & process work in a timely manner
  • Good organisational skills to maintain effective and efficient administrative systems and procedures
  • Be a self starter with good initiative.
