Timber and Wood Products Operations Traineeship, Milperra, NSW

Our client is a family based business who have been in operation for many years. They are at the forefront of the timber process that makes it possible for shopfitters and cabinet makers to build their projects.
As a trainee, you will learn all about these processes and learn how to operate the machinery on site that enables out clients to serve their customers.
The work is 100% Workshop based and is easily accessible by car or public transport.
The tasks in this traineeship will include:
- Using hand and power tools
- Operating machinery
- Selecting, lifting, and loading materials
- Trimming
- Identifying product flaws
- Quality control
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
We are looking for someone who is physically fit with an eye for detail, with a good work ethic, a team worker, willing to learn, and a good attitude.
This is a full time role based on a 38 hour week Monday to Friday with some overtime on offer during the week.
