WH&S – Eye injuries

A carpentry apprentice in the WTE area suffered an eye injury recently whilst operating a compressed air nail gun.

Our apprentice openly recognises that if he had been wearing safety glasses the incident would not have occurred.

This is a timely reminder to wear your Personal Protective Equipment at all times. If you need additional PPE please don’t hesitate to phone your field officer or 1300apprentice head office and ask for it.
