Wedderburn winners
Here at 1300apprentice we’re always pleased to get feedback about our apprentices in the field. Wedderburn have over 100 years experience in the industry of weighing, labelling, food processing and point of sale systems, and 1300apprentice have had a long-standing relationship with this company.
NSW & ACT Service Manager, Kevin Thompson sent us a copy of a recent email he circulated to their nationwide offices in relation to two of his apprentice’s achievements in the recent 1300apprentice Awards.
“Good morning everyone, While Michael and Shane were unsuccessful in winning the award for apprentice of the year for all categories both guys did extremely well in the category of Electronics.
I would like to say well done and a big pat on the back to Shane Bird. Shane won the apprentice of the year award in the category of Electronics. Shane has shown great commitment to both Wedderburn and his trade and this is reflected in his award. Well done Shane and keep up the excellent work.
Michael Eng was also nominated in the same category and has also won an award. The judging panel found it extremely difficult to separate the efforts of both Shane and Michael, so much so that they created the special award of Highly Commended. Michael has proven that he is more than capable over the years and is currently focused in learning our packaging equipment.
Please join with me in congratulating both Shane and Michael, this is an excellent result for both the guys and also for Wedderburn in its ongoing commitment to keeping fresh new talent in our organisation.
Next time any of you are in head office please take the time to view the awards which will be placed near our training/meeting rooms on the ground floor.
Best Regards
Kevin Thompson
NSW & ACT Service Manager”
