Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal), 1st Year, Cert III, Bankstown, NSW

Operating from state-of-the-art premises in Sydney and Melbourne, you will learn your trade from true professionals.

This is a highly sought-after priority skills shortage trade.

Some of what you will learn: 

  • Reading Drawings and plans
  • Source materials and components for production
  • Welding, Mig, Tig and Stig
  • CNC Cutting
  • Set and operate hand and machine tools
  • Cut, roll, and shape metal to fabricate
  • Work with steel, aluminium and stainless steel
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area

To be Successful:

  • Up-to-date training transcript if you are already an apprentice
  • Must be motivated and hard-working
  • Passionate about a career in fabrication
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Can do attitude
  • Committed to a 4-year apprenticeship
  • Drivers licence minimum P
