Sports Turf Management Apprenticeship

The training, support and experience you need to get a job in Australia’s relaxing golf turfs or exciting rugby fields

When you enjoy being outdoors in nature, time alone on the job to get work and the therapeutic feeling of work with your own two hands, you may enjoy the life of a Sports Turf Manager.

Sports Turf Management does not consist solely of mowing a lawn, but of preparing new seedbeds, replanting, fertilising, constructing sports equipment, mapping out lines on turf and deciding on the right steps to ensure the health of the field and gardens. Also, unlike landscaping, sports turf managers maintain turf to the special requirements of sporting fields.

With 1300apprentice’s complete Sports Turf Management apprenticeship, you can find the full support and training through a classroom and on the job. Lastly, we cover the costs of everything and connect you to your first entry level sports turf management role.
