1300apprentice has a highly valued client based in Alexandria looking for motivated and committed 1st to 4th year Cabinet making apprentices to join their already valued and driven team.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be undertaking a Certificate III in Cabinet making.
About our Host
Our host employer works on Commercial, Industrial, Government and Education areas, offering the best in craftmanship when completing office spaces.
Duties that you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Make measurements and calculations
- Use of hand and power tools
- Read and interpret work documents
- Fabricate custom furniture
- Prepare cutting list from plans and job specifications
- Set up, operate and maintain computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining and processing centres
- Apply quality standards
Pre-Requisites:
- Experience with using basic hand tools
- White card
- Car and licence
To be successful:
- If started apprenticeship, must have up to date TAFE transcripts
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Well presented
- Great work ethic
- Dedicated and wanting to learn
- Follows direction well
