- Perform measurements and calculations
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Handle carpentry hand and power tools
- Construct frames, trusses and eaves
- Repair existing fittings
- Laying flooring
- Fitting exterior wall cladding, doors and frames
- Cutting, shaping and fitting timber
