💡 About the role

1300apprentice is seeking an enthusiastic 1st-year Apprentice Wall & Floor Tiler to join our employer partner based in Kiama. You will learn the skills and techniques required to become a qualified wall and floor tiling professional.

 🛠️ Some of what you will learn

·         Assisting experienced tilers with the installation of tiles on walls and floors

·         Measuring, cutting and laying tiles using the correct adhesives and grouts

·         Preparing surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling and priming

·         Maintaining a clean and organised work area

·         Completing all tasks to a high standard and in accordance with industry standards

·         Participating in on-the-job training and formal education to develop your skills

🔍What we’re looking for

·         A strong interest in the building trades and a desire to learn the art of wall and floor tiling

·         Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

·         The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

·         A willingness to learn and develop your skills through both practical and theoretical training

·         P Driver licence minimum is essential 

·         White Card (or willing to obtain one)

·         A positive attitude and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship
