Auto Electrical, first year apprentice, Huntingwood, NSW
Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and proud of a job done right? We’re looking for a 1st Year Auto Electrical apprentice to join our client’s team in Huntingwood and help keep our forklift fleet operating safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and working in a practical, fast-paced workshop environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the workshop team, your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
-
Servicing and repairing a range of forklifts of various sizes and models
-
Assisting with repairs and maintenance of units in the workshop
-
Supporting other workshop technicians as required
-
Carrying out preventative maintenance (PM) servicing on forklifts under the guidance of a Level 3 technician or above
-
Ensuring tools are properly maintained and cared for

Delivering high-quality customer service and clear communication
-
Completing other ad hoc duties as required

Ensure compliance with the Business Management System and all Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures
Physical & Functional Requirements
This is a physically active role. You will need to be able to:

Lift equipment weighing up to 20kg
-
Remove and fit components weighing up to approximately 70kg
-
Climb, squat, stretch, and work in confined positions on forklift trucks
-
Lift and pour fluids from containers ranging from 1kg to 25kg
-
Remove and replace heavy hydraulic rams
