We have a valued client looking for an apprentice for their Civil Construction & Maintenance team to carry out asphalt, concreting, drainage and other capital and maintenance related works.

This includes excavation of existing material, base preparation, forming up, concreting or asphalt laying or fixing and associated finishing.

Tasks include – but not limited to the following:

  • Learn to use techniques and plant equipment in constructing and maintaining roadways and footpaths, landscape construction, drainage works and other associated activities.

    • Learn how to maintain tools and use equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

    • Learn to interpret and understand construction drawings.

    • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

    • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

    • Other duties as required that are consistent with the skills, experience and training of the incumbent
