About the role

As a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice, you’ll learn everything you need to know about installing, servicing, repairing, and modernising lifts, escalators, and moving walkways. Along the way, you’ll:

  • across different parts of the business to explore your interests
  • Develop strong technical and customer service skills
  • Earn while you learn – combining full-time work with TAFE studies to achieve a Certificate III in Electrotechnology

💰 Government Bonus Electrotechnology Apprenticeships are on the Australian Apprenticeship Priority List. You may be eligible for a payment of between $5000,00 and $10,000.00 from the Government during the term of the apprenticeship.

What we’re looking for

  • Completed Year 12 or higher qualification
  • Safety-first mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Passion for electrical systems and practical, hands-on work
  • Great teamwork, communication, and work ethic
  • Physically Fit – this is physically demanding role
  • Driver’s licence, P minimum
  • (Certificate II in Electrotechnology is a bonus, but not essential)
