Some of what you’ll learn:

• garden design
• effectively implement plant nutrition programs
• control plant pests, diseases and disorders
• plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
• identify plant specimens
• plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
• implement effective pruning programs .

About you:

• a genuine interest in building a career in horticulture
• committed to completing a 2-year traineeship
• physically fit and ready to work hard outdoors
• driver’s licence and own transport
• White Card (or willing to obtain one)
• well presented with a strong work ethic
• takes pride in their work and is eager to learn
• follows directions and works well in a team.
