1300apprentice currently has a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals to commence a 2-year Horticulture Traineeship with our Employer Partner working across Greater Western Sydney.

Our Employer Partner’s core value is to “Improve the World for All”.  Their vison is centred on excellence in environmental landscape consultancy and construction. They specialise in landscape construction, environmental rehabilitation, bush regeneration and maintenance, sports field maintenance and so much more.

You will learn your trade from a team of passionate professionals as you undertake a Certificate III in Horticulture..

🔥 You will earn the same pay rates and conditions as being employed directly with a company, but have the security of having a dedicated team supporting you. At 1300apprentice “We’ve got your back!”

🌱 Some of What you’ll learn:

• Garden and woodland maintenance
• How to effectively implement plant nutrition program’s
• Control plant pests, diseases and disorders
• Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
• Identify plant specimens
• Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
• Implement effective pruning programs.

🔍 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in building a career in Horticulture
• Committed to completing a 2-year traineeship
• Is physically fit and ready to work hard outdoors
• Has a driver’s licence minimum P and own transport
• Has a White Card (or willing to obtain one)
• Is well presented with a strong work ethic
• Takes pride in their work and is eager to learn
• Follows directions and works well in a team
