🌿 1st Year Landscape Construction Apprentice – Western Sydney 🌿

We are currently looking for 1 x 1st Year Landscape Construction Apprentice to join our growing team working across Western Sydney. This opportunity is open to Junior or Adult apprentices who are motivated, reliable, and eager to build a career in the landscaping industry.

📍 Position Details

  • Location: Western Sydney

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Apprenticeship

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

  • Overtime: Some to most Saturdays during Summer (paid OT)

  • Training: 1 day per week at TAFE for approximately 3 years to complete the theory component of your apprenticeship.


✅ Requirements

  • White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Driver’s Licence & Own Transport

  • First Aid Certificate – desirable but not essential

  • Willingness to learn and work outdoors in all conditions

🛠 Key Duties

You will assist the team with a range of landscaping tasks including:

  • Contributing to team safety and reporting hazards immediately

  • Following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Safely using and maintaining tools and equipment

  • Assisting with site preparation and landscape construction

  • Mowing, brush cutting, weed control, and chemical application

  • Demonstrating common sense and awareness on site

  • Communicating clearly with site managers and team members

  • Your work ethic and contribution to the team, based on feedback from supervisors and peers

  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Your initiative and willingness to learn new skills and techniques

  • Compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards

  • Attendance and participation at TAFE

  • Seeking clarification from supervisors when instructions or tasks are unclear
