Our Employer Partner is looking for a motivated 1st and 2nd Year Light Automotive Apprentice to join their friendly and highly regarded workshop team in Helensburgh.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Learning

Working alongside qualified mechanics, you’ll develop practical skills and industry knowledge, including:

• Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Learning routine vehicle inspections and diagnostic procedures.
• Developing your mechanical knowledge and workshop skills.
• Using modern diagnostic tools and automotive technology.
• Following workshop safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.
• Working as part of a team and learning from experienced industry professionals.

👊 What Are We Looking For?

You’ll ideally be someone who:

• As a 2nd-year, you must have up-to-date training transcripts available before the interview
• Has a genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to develop new skills.
• Takes initiative and can work independently when required.
• Holds a Current Driver Licence minimum P –  Essential
• Listens, follows instructions and works well within a team.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to take on challenges.
• Wants to grow, develop and potentially progress into a leadership role in the future.

No previous automotive qualifications are required. A genuine interest in mechanics and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
