Our partner employer design build and maintain contemporary and innovative landscapes that foster and promote outdoor living. Every one of their projects is drawn, built and maintained by the hands of their skilful and passionate team. You will learn your trade from them as you undertake a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens while working on housing developments, commercial properties, community parks and bush regeneration. This is a 2025 Skills Priority List trade.
Some of what you will learn:
- Planting trees, bushes, plants
- Mowing & whipper snipping
- Edging and mulching
- Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
- Drainage installation
- Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
- Project costing.

Must have:
- Driver’s licence and own transport
- White card or willing to obtain one.
To be successful:
- If you are currently a Parks & Gardens apprentice, you must provide an up-to-date TAFE/RTO transcript.
- Have a passion for the outdoors, parks & gardens and want to be part of a growing business once you’ve completed your apprenticeship.
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Well presented
- Great work ethic
- Willing to obtain a national police clearance and WWCC (at our expense)
- Dedicated and keen to learn
- Follow directions well.
