Trade Assistant (sheet metal), Bankstown NSW
Looking for a Trades Assistant with sheet metal experience.
Our Client has more than 30 years in the manufacturing of hot and cold food equipment. As their reputation and knowledge of the equipment grew, their clients wanted more and more.
Hence as they grow, they require YOU!
Duties:
- Take direction from general manager, director and peers.
- Co-ordinate with office staff for deliveries (dispatch & receive), jobs and progress updates.
- Utilize and interpret drawings.
- Use of power tools example: grinder, drill, polisher.
- Cutting of stainless steel from coil / tube / rod etc to required side using hand held tools and machinery.
- Measuring and marking out of stainless steel.
- Bending of stainless steel and using machinery (bender).Welding of stainless steel.
- Polishing of stainless steel.
- Gluing timber to stainless steel.
- Resining of benches.
- Use of Forklift – loading and unloading trucks / vehicles as required.
- On site installation works and or deliveries as required.
- Reviewing drawing layouts and able to place equipment into position and silicon seal.
Requirements:
- Protective Personal Equipment to be worn.
- Must dock on and dock off every day.
