Looking for a WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR, Ryde, NSW

Weighbridge Operators operate weighing plants and issue measurement tickets which provide readings of vehicle and stock weight.

You will be involved with customer contact, delivery scheduling and truck allocation, reception duties, invoicing, product sales and first point of contact with customers.

Computer skills and experience necessary.

Onsite training is provided for this role.

Enter all vehicles on the weighbridge into the weighbridge software. This includes vehicles tipping raw product as well as vehicles picking up product
Have an understanding of NHVR and chain of responsibility – desirable.
EPA training on Material recycling facilities – IN HOUSE Training.
Asbestos awareness training through EPA or accredited through EPA – IN HOUSE Training.
Ability to communicate with customers face to face.
Ability to use UHF to communicate with other staff and customers in the yard.
Basic data entry and able to create and update spreadsheets.
Maintain stock levels and place orders when needed.
Utilise the data in the weighbridge software to create reports for customers as well as for internal use.
Experience in a front-end loader will also be beneficial.

Must have requirements:

• Weigh vehicles and load and issue measurement tickets

• Experience with weigh bridge operations

• Use of scales is a MUST

• Competency for data entry

• Drivers LIC.

Requirements:

• Maintains plant

• Meet on site at depot

• Hours are 6:45am – 3:15pm Monday – Friday

• Paid casual rate
