Celebrate the achievements
The 1300apprentice awards aim to celebrate the achievements of our apprentices and trainees in their chosen field. Each nominee has demonstrated a high level of performance, enthusiasm and dedication to the Vocational Education and Training industry. They have demonstrated achievements in their workplace and commitment to their studies.
This year saw a shift in our award application process with apprentices and trainees driving their own nomination. The judges commented that applications this year were of the highest quality with a mix of written, video and PowerPoint presentations submissions. Apprentices and trainees sought references from host employers, colleagues, TAFE or RTO teachers and provided examples of some of their biggest achievements to date. The journey of their applications proved a worthy cause of collecting evidence to include in their future portfolio’s and for some, a chance to gain direct feedback on their performance through obtaining supervisor comments.
Thank you to our host employers who provide the day to day training, supervision, and guidance that our shared apprentices and trainees need to succeed. With your support, apprentices and trainees are given the opportunity to achieve their very best.
