The Role
This role is for an experienced commercial landscaping supervisor who can independently manage site delivery, control labour, and interface confidently with builders and consultants.
You will be trusted to run your site properly. Planning the work, managing your crew, and delivering quality outcomes with minimal intervention.
Your Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for day to day site operations
- Lead and manage a crew of 3–4 tradesmen/labourers
- Ensure the site is operational and productive by 7:00am
- Plan and sequence work in line with the construction program
- Read, interpret, and execute works from landscape plans, details, and specifications
- Coordinate deliveries, subcontractors, and access requirements
- Communicate directly with builders, site managers, and supervisors
- Track labour, materials, variations, and progress
- Maintain site safety, presentation, and compliance always
- Deliver work with minimal defects and rework
- Take full accountability for crew performance, efficiency, and output
- Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and trailers to a professional standard
About You
This role will suit someone who:
- Has strong commercial landscaping experience and understands construction-site expectations
- Can run a site without handholding
- Communicates confidently and professionally with builders
- Holds their crew accountable and drives productivity
- Takes pride in clean, organised sites and quality finishes
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial landscaping experience (essential)
- Demonstrated experience supervising crews on construction sites
- White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Truck (HR) Licence (highly regarded)
- Cert III in Landscape Construction or equivalent (highly regarded)
The Offer
- $45–$55/hr, based on experience and capability
- Full time hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
