We are currently looking for a motivated 1st Year Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our growing workshop team based in Prestons NSW.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start a hands-on career in the HVAC and sheet metal industry with full training provided in a supportive workshop environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
6:30am – 3:00pm
Some Saturdays available (frequent-ish overtime opportunities)

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components from drawings and specifications
• Operate sheet metal machinery including guillotines, folders, rollers, notchers, presses, and plasma/CNC equipment
• Assemble rectangular and spiral ductwork systems
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal materials
• Install flanges, stiffeners, dampers, and duct accessories
• Ensure all fabricated ductwork meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material preparation
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
• Complete work within production schedules
